Invitation Criteria

Junior Premier Outdoor League (JPOL) is a USA FH Sanctioned event and open to all USA FH Member Clubs (except U16 & U19 Elite – Invite Only). Selection criteria is outlined below. For clubs interested in participating outside their domicile region, criteria is also below.

JPH will continue to review the current event formats in each region and make every effort to accommodate all interested clubs wishing to compete in the Junior Premier Outdoor League (JPOL) in their region.

Invitations to the 2024 JPOL Elite in the U16 and U19 divisions will be sent to clubs based on the following criteria:

  1. Top five U19 clubs from the 2023 JPOL Elite (1st – 5th Place). These top clubs will receive automatic entry for the 2024 U19 JPOL Elite granted they did not forfeit any of their matches and register by the stated deadline.
  2. Top five U16 clubs from the 2023 JPOL Elite (1st – 5th Place). These top clubs will receive automatic entry for the 2024 U16 JPOL Elite granted they did not forfeit any of their matches and register by the stated deadline. The top two (2) clubs may also have the opportunity to participate in the U19 Elite based on final ranking and regional quota limits.
  3. Top four U14 clubs from the 2023 JPOL U14 Combine (1st – 4th Place). The top two (2) clubs may also have the opportunity to participate in the U16 JPOL Elite based on final ranking and regional quota limits.
  4. Special Invitation to JPOL U16 & U19 Elite. To fill any remaining openings, the JPH Directors will identify and invite additional clubs to participate in the 2024 JPOL Elite based on, but not limited to:
    1. Final JPOL regional ranking
    2. Regional quotas (No more than three clubs per region)
    3. Other indicators such as RCC/NCC ranking

NOTE: Each club is only allowed to enter one team in each the U16 and U19 JPOL Elite.

IMPORTANT
Clubs and/or Coaches receiving notification for refusing to follow the Rules & Regulations, and/or a breach of the Code of Conduct, and/or forfeited any of their matches at any of the 2023 JPOL events, may not be considered or accepted to participate regardless of their performance and final ranking.

The U14 Combine division is open to all USA FH member clubs. The maximum number of clubs accepted is 16.

Each club may register one (1) team in the U14 Combine division. However, clubs may choose to register a second team. If more than sixteen (16) teams register by the registration deadline, only one (1) of these teams will be accepted.

Should more than 16 teams register by the stated deadline, selection will be based on:

  1. Clubs that did not forfeit any of its scheduled games or withdrew from any JPH event (JPOL/JPIL) over the previous three years
  2. Final ranking in the most recently concluded JPOL in that region (1st – 5th)
  3. Clubs receiving a Special invitation from JPH Directors
  4. New clubs based on most recent USA FH ranking

Registration is first come, first serve. We recommend clubs register no more than one team per division per date to limit the possibility of playing against your own club.

Registration is limited to eight (8) teams per age division.

The maximum number of clubs accepted in the U16 & U19 divisions in each region will be eight (8).

Clubs may register one (1) team in each of the U16 and U19 divisions of their region’s JPOL. Any club wishing to register a second team in a U16 or U19 division must submit an official written request to JPH prior to the registration deadline. Once registration closes, JPH will advise of acceptance of the second team.

Should more than 8 clubs register by the stated deadline, selection will be based on:

  1. Clubs not invited to the JPOL Elite in the respective division
  2. Clubs domiciled within the region
  3. Clubs that did not forfeit any of its scheduled games or withdrew from any JPH event (JPOL/JPIL) over the previous three years
  4. Final ranking in the most recently concluded JPOL in that region (1st – 5th)
  5. Clubs receiving a special invitation from JPH Directors
  6. New Clubs based on most recent USA FH ranking

JPH will continue to entertain clubs interested in participating outside of their respective domicile region, based on the following criteria:

  1. The maximum number of registrations has not been met in the non-domicile region
  2. Submit an official written request to JPH prior to the registration readline
  3. Have not forfeited or withdrawn from any JPH events in the preceding three years
  4. Have registered a team in the same division in their respective region

Final selection will be based on:

  • Previous participation in and most recent JPOL ranking in division of the non-domicile region
  • Most recent JPOL ranking in division of domicile region
