Below are some testimonials from university coaches, participants and parents who have enjoyed the benefits of Junior Premier Hockey.
I wanted to take the time to thank you and [Junior Premier Hockey] for taking a chance on allowing a boy to play in the u14 JPOL. We had a very positive experience and had many players, parents and coaches approach us to say how happy they were to see a boy playing. We heard no negativity at all and the over all the experience was outstanding. I hope our experience reflects in any feedback you may have received. I also hope this will continue to open doors for boys and playing opportunity on the East coast. Thank you again for the opportunity and for helping to grow the game for boys.

We have participated in JPOL for the two years it has been offered in Regions 9 and 10. It is exactly what our athletes and coaches need to continue growing the sport and igniting competition. The level of professionalism that is brought to JPOL by its staff is wonderful. We love having the opportunity to play other teams who are sincere about good competition.

Freedom love being a part of JPOL! It has created an opportunity for our players to compete on a consistent basis against good competition. It is exciting to see our players’ and teams’ growth from the beginning to the end season. We are lucky to have such a great league in place and hope to see it keep growing!

Our club, and everyone in our region, is so excited for the opportunity to participate in the inaugural Region 4 outdoor tournament at William Smith College. Junior Premier Hockey has been fantastic to work with, and we are honored and privileged to be a part of this close-knit hockey community (Rachael, Nigel, Lurah, and Dean, et. al.) as they expand their offerings. Thank you JPH!

Potomac Rapids Field Hockey loves having JPOL in our region giving our high school club players the opportunity to play 11 v 11 games during the spring. It’s a terrific way for the girls to be ready for high school tryouts & preseason

As this is my first experience with JPOL, I just wanted to say I am impressed with the organization of the league. Umpires, scorer’s table, Altius – all first class.
Region 6 Participating Club Team Manager
I wanted to reach out to you and let you know how well run the first week of JPOL was and that the umpiring was top notch. Ridge, Aaron and their crew did great job!

“Congratulations on another fantastic JPOL season! As an International Hockey Federation (FIH) Executive Board Member, I am proud of Nigel Traverso and Rachael Milne for aligning themselves with FIH’s purpose “to raise the global popularity of hockey.” By creating a premier league for clubs in the United States, they are not only creating competitive playing opportunities for clubs around the country, but also building a recognized, powerful image – a league that, in the very near future, every club will want to compete!”

“The JPOL was fantastic this year. The website with the game schedules and the up-to-date Team Rosters were very helpful.
I attended both the Region 5 (PA) and Region 9/10 (Midwest) JPOL and the games were competitive and exciting.
The officiating, not surprisingly was sub par…but that’s a problem with the country… maybe JPOL can be used to help younger officials get involved and start officiating?
The outdoor turf games were great to watch and I hope more club teams will find playing opportunities on wet AstroTurf. That is the safest and best field hockey surface and I’m glad JPOL was able to find great facilities.
I was unable to watch the Championships, but I glad each age group had a champion as these young players need more opportunities to compete for 1 Championships as opposed to the 20 team winners than come out of Festival or NITs.”

“Thank you for all that you have done to make this a go. As the previous Head Coach at Michigan I don’t think in the course of my coaching career I have seen anything make such a significant impact as this league in regard to raising the bar.”

“This is the first away trip I have not attended with our club since it began! It was so strange to be the one staying back but i have felt so connected to the event via the stats and immediate game reports online. And, it has driven home how incredibly beneficial the JPOL is to our region and our club. This structure allows us access to beautiful turf surfaces…the kind we all dream of having our athletes practice on everyday! We get to track our team’s progress over the course of several weeks and games. I am sure I speak for our coaching staff that we are learning more from the round robin league structure in our region about our strengths and weaknesses than any other event we compete in throughout the year. I love that the league standings keep shifting game to game. It is like the British Premier League season in a day! We get to learn so much before going into the RCC. What an incredible addition to our spring timeline.
So THANK YOU for bringing us the JPOL and for making it happen for our athletes in regions 9/10! We ask a lot of questions of you over the weeks, but please know we appreciate.”

“Philly Hockey Club would like to thank [JPH] for the time and hard work [it puts] into making the Junior Premier Indoor League possible for clubs here in the USA. It plays an important part in facilitating regular high-level competition in a league environment brining meaning and consequence to each match played. It is a great example of partnership working across the board from the national governing body, umpire development and clubs.
Please continue to progress this league and possibly others for the future benefit of club indoor hockey.”

“Visiting JPOL Region 5 was a very worthwhile trip for me from Albany, NY. It was refreshing to watch the PA Clubs play in a competitive, well organize league structure, where athletes play in their preferred positions and see the cohesiveness of a team. The players look very comfortable and relaxed playing with their club team mates who they know. I was impressed with the level of play and look forward to 2015, when I plan to attend the other JPOL Regions and watch more Clubs compete.”

“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you profoundly for all the hard work that has gone into the creation of the JPIL and JPOL. You have provided amazing field hockey opportunities for so many girls, and great memories for the parents too!”
