At the conclusion of round four and with one round of pool play left, the top four spots have yet to be claimed in either the U-16 or U-19 division. With only two games remaining in pool play for each of the participating Clubs, February 17 will be very important. The final round of pool play will take place on Monday, February 17that the Sportsplex in Pottstown, PA and we are expecting an exciting conclusion as clubs compete to be in the top bracket or to stay out of the bottom.

Not only do we have a race to see which Club will be seeded 1st and which will be seeded 12th, we also have a hotly contested battle to see who will be awarded the Princess Most Goals Award. In both divisions, Xcalibur has scored the most goals as a team, but it is the individual play of both Erin Shanahan of The Gaels FHC and Fusine Govaert of FC United, who hold very slim leads in the U-19 and U-16 divisions respectively.

So what an exciting finish we are expecting on the last day of pool play on February 17th as Clubs compete for the highest seeding possible. The top four ranked clubs will compete for the Championship, while the other Clubs will play for ranking positions 5th thru 12th.

A few miles down the road at Marple Sports Arena, the battle for the U-14 Division Champion is being hotly contested. At the conclusion of play on February 2, the ranking pool clubs finished their competition for places 9th through 16th. Total Dutch had a strong finish with an undefeated 7-0 record in the Ranking Pool to finish 9th.

As for the Championship Pool, no decisions have been made as to who will walk away the 2014 JPIL U-14 Division Champion. Philly Hockey Club and High Styx FH are currently tied with seven points, closely followed by CNY and Mystx United. However, most of the teams currently seated #1 through #5 have yet to play each other. Anything can happen and many will be watching the results board come the final date of competition on Monday February 17.

Final Ranking in all Divisions is very important because it could be a deciding factor when the invitations are sent out to Clubs inviting them to compete in the 2015 Junior Premier Indoor League.

Come on down and show your support for the league and your favorite Club on February 17th and then again on the Championship day Saturday, February 22nd when the 2014 winners will be presented with the Princess JPIL Challenge Trophies.

Can Xcalibur FHC three-peat in the U-19 Division? Will High Styx FH be able to defends its Championship in the U-16 Divisions? Who will be the first ever U-14 JPIL Champion? Who will reign supreme? Stay tuned!
